Malvern, PA (PRWEB) December 15, 2014

Powered by Consultant, the nation’s leading, peer-reviewed journal for primary care practitioners, the successful, live continuing medical education conference, Cardiometabolic Risk Summit (CRS) is proud to announce its expansion to offer both a spring and fall national conference in 2015.

Both conferences will feature a dynamic, evidence-based agenda covering the broad spectrum of topics inherent to cardiometabolic risk syndrome, including:

Obesity
Diabetes
Dyslipidemia
Hypertension
Nutrition in Clinical Practice

“Having two comprehensive conferences each year provides more clinicians with access to the critical tools necessary to treat the staggering 1 in 3 adults affected by cardiometabolic syndrome in the United States,” said Edward Shahady, MD, CRS Co-Chair. “The popularity of these meetings is firmly rooted in our practical, late-breaking educational content, allowing attendees to immediately integrate their learning into everyday practice.”

In addition to the expanded conference format, the CRS advisory committee has also grown in 2015. Joining Edward Shahady, MD, and Timothy Harlan, MD, as conference co-chairs this year are Daniel Einhorn, MD, who also serves as President of Diabetes and Endocrine Associates and Peter H. Jones, MD, of the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center.

The Cardiometabolic Risk Summit Spring conference (CRS Spring), built off the wildly successful 2014 regional meeting of the same name, will again be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in New Orleans, LA, from May 30–June 1, 2015.

CRS Spring is developed in partnership with the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine at Tulane University and will provide up to 15 CME/CE credits across more than 18 educational sessions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enhance their learning experience by adding a culinary medicine module at Tulane’s state-of-the-art teaching kitchen.

The flagship Cardiometabolic Risk Summit Fall conference (CRS Fall) returns to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV, from September 25–27, 2015, and will offer attendees an expanded, live-conference curriculum of up to 20 CME/CE credits across more than 35 educational sessions.

Additionally, CRS Fall attendees can elect to earn up to 35 CME/CE credits with the new Maximum Credit Package, a bundled registration that includes access to the main conference plus all educational sessions offered through Cardiometabolic Risk Summit On-Demand 2015.

CRS educational content is developed for the entire primary care team, both physicians and non-physicians. The conferences are also accredited for a number of other related healthcare professionals, such as registered dietitians and pharmacists, who are also involved in the treatment of patients at risk for cardiometabolic syndrome.

Questions specific to accreditation, content, program offering, and other details for either conference can be directed to 1-800-208-8075.

Registration is now open for both CRS Spring and CRS Fall 2015.
