Im taking precalculus with out the basic knowledge of algebra?
should i just drop the class now and save myself the headache? i got into precalc because my transcript says that i passed algebra with a B, im sure i failed it though i dont know how but hey im not complaining im hearing that precalc has alot of algebra in it and i dont know algebra ... im failing the class because the teacher thinks all the students know basic algebra so he flys through some of the problems and im like OMG so if i drop this class now im set back for a whole year becuase i'll have to take algebra next semester and than precalc again the semester after that im really upset but i have sort of a plan if i drop precalc now within the add drop period i can teach myself algebra with an algebra for dummies book from barnes and nobles this semester, and than take precalc next coming semester what should i do? ?

Should we need to develop more scientific knowledges to protect the world from happening disasters?
We re living in the threatening world happening various disasters around the globe. Can science help to prevent happening such disasters.If science cant do anything then whats use of science. It is better to learn sth that can help us such as religion, ect which encourage people to control oneself from greediness, anger, ect.

I want to gain knowledge of biology but I have never studied the subject before? Need advice?
