“Health benefits administration is much more complicated today,” says Ms. Weber, a benefits compliance manager, who admits to reviewing much of the more than 900 pages of the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act.

Ms.Weber, who has a Bachelor of Science in Education and Mathematics from Oswego State University, is an expert when it comes to pretax benefits administration and related payroll compliance. She has worked as a third-party administrator of benefits, which included cafeteria plans, medical and dependent care FSAs, HRAs, HSAs, COBRA services and parking/transit spending accounts.

“I helped to bring clients up to speed with the new healthcare reform as it related to their benefit plans,” she said.

Previously, Ms.Weber held positions at national payroll service companies. At PrimePay/Prime Flex, she was the compliance manager who assisted in the development and management of their benefit services division. Before that, Ms. Weber was at ADP, where she designed, implemented and supported its POP (Premium Only Plan) product and assisted in the development and management of its Retirement Services division. During her tenure at ADP, Ms. Weber was instrumental in implementing retirement services’ disaster recovery procedures and managing its quality assurance department.
