The Outlier Series announced the short e-Book with exclusive interview content from Sharon Guynup, is now available for $ 0.99 on Amazon. The eBook is the first to be released profiling one of the exceptional women featured in the series’ upcoming book, Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers. The title of the first mini e-Book is Ingredients of Outliers: Woman Game Changer Sharon Guynup.

Guynup was chosen as an outlier featured in the mini e-book and the Outlier Series’ third book because of her work in fighting to protect Tigers, one of the world’s most endangered species, and for her accomplishments as a freelance environmental journalist and photographer who has been published in the Smithsonian, National Geographic, and Huffington Post, to name a few. The short e-Book features extended exclusive interview content unique from the book about what it’s like to be a women in the workplace, as well as her background, and advice to others aspiring in her field. The remaining five 25-30 page short e-Books with extended interviews from the women featured in Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers are scheduled to release in the summer of 2014. Other women profiled include former Iowa state Supreme Court Chief Justice, Marsha Ternus; Oprah’s Book Club author, Jane Hamilton; Founder of Midwest Glaucoma Center, P.C., Dr. Mildred M. G. Guynup recently collaborated with National Geographic photographer Steve Winter to publish the book Tigers Forever. The book and blog focus on the dramatic story of the tigers’ fight for survival. Guynup has also been featured in a TEDx Talk. “Sharon’s curiosity and tenacity to make her explorations count as an advocate for endangered species is what makes her an outlier,” said author, entrepreneur, and emergency medicine physician, John Shufeldt.

In the future, short e-Books featuring individuals profiled in the Outliers Series will be created for each book. Content will include extended interviews on individual outliers, along with action and resource guides for those aspiring to enter their related career field.
