The Little Gym of Houston has announced that they will now be offering summer camps for children to enjoy while school is out. The camps are seasonal, and they combine gymnastics, music, art and building activities that will keep kids active and engaged during their summer vacation.

“We believe that summer vacation is a great time to build memories while having fun,” explained Heather Belcher, the owner of The Little Gym of Sugar Land. “Our day camps are the perfect way for children to stay engaged in learning while they are out of school.”

The Little Gym will be hosting summer camps at 11 locations around Houston. Super Kids’ Quest Camp is designed for children ages 3 through 8, and the children will focus on completing a fun mission that is filled with music, art, crafts and special events. Children ages 6 through 12 can attend Grade School Skill Thrill Camp, which allows them to focus on improving gymnastics skills in a fun and supportive environment.

“We want children to feel successful no matter what they are doing or what season it may be,” stated Belcher. “Our experiential programs keep kids motivated to do their best even when they aren’t in school.”

The summer camp schedules are flexible, which allows parents to bring their children a day at a time, once a week or on a regular basis. Parents can visit http://www.thelittlegym.com/Pages/Houston-Area.aspx to learn more about the summer camp schedule for each location in Houston.
