The team behind the highly successful and effective Reading Eggs early literacy program, which is used by more than 1,000,000 children and 5,000 schools in U.S., is excited to announce the release of Mathseeds for grades K–2 on April 16.

Created specifically for the needs of early math learners in grades K–2, Mathseeds helps children master the core numeracy skills they need to be successful in school and beyond. Blake eLearning is committed to improving learning outcomes for young children by providing carefully sequenced lessons that are fun, interactive and rewarding. Developed by a highly experienced team of teachers, educational writers, animators, and web developers over the last four years, Mathseeds targets the skills and strategies children need to be lifelong learners. The program is designed according to the latest research about how young children learn and the methods that are most effective to ensure long-term concept and skill retention. Play is a key way that young students learn and Blake eLearning has embedded hundreds of play-based activities throughout the program.

At its core, Mathseeds is a teaching and learning sequence consisting of more than 140 lessons that teach children key concepts in mathematics through guided lessons, exploration and practice. The rigorous program meets the highest of worldwide benchmarks and is fully aligned to the Common Core State Standards as well as -TEKS and other standards set by individual states. Mathseeds launching after a successful pilot with hundreds of teachers throughout the United States.

“Finally, a math program that is both kid friendly and academically sound. I’ve been searching for years and am happy to say that Mathseeds will be used by my kindergartners daily – they love it and their teacher does too.”
