Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 09, 2014

The Pittcon Exposition Committee is now accepting booth space reservations for Pittcon 2015, which will be held March 8-12, at the Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. The discounted rate of $ 2,400 for a standard 10’ x 10’ space is available to all exhibitors up to July 14, 2014. The cost per booth after July 14 is $ 2,900. Those who wish to be included in the first round of booth assignments should have their agreements submitted by the end of July, as assignments will begin August 2014.

The Exposition Committee also announces a new section that will be part of the 2015 expo floor, a Food section, which will be dedicated to companies selling products and services used by those in the food science industry.

The top industries represented by Pittcon attendees include education, instrument manufacturing, biotechnology, chemicals, pharmaceutical, environmental, medical/clinical/forensics, food/beverage, process manufacturing, metals/minerals, and petroleum/petrochemicals.

According to 2014 statistics compiled by ITN, Pittcon’s official registration company, Pittcon attracts more than 10,000 conferees from 87 countries of which 73% are reported to be involved in the decision making process. Based on 2014 survey results, 57% of conferees made a purchase or plan on placing an order. Of those who plan to buy, 71% will do so within 6 months after the exposition.

Pittcon offers the industry’s premier exposition for companies serving the analytical and laboratory science markets who want the most effective venue for promoting their company, products, and services to a global audience. We are pleased to return to New Orleans. Louisiana is home to legacy sectors such as chemicals and refining and emerging prospects of biofuels, food processing industries and water management—all of which provide an ideal venue for Pittcon.
