Connecticut (PRWEB) March 09, 2015

Circulatory Centers is pleased to welcome two physicians to their 3 Connecticut offices. Their commitment to excellence in vein care is strengthened by offering the on-site expertise of Medical Director, Dr. Robert Musson. Dr. Musson joined Circulatory Centers in 1992 and served as Associate Medical Director for over 10 years before being named Medical Director in 2014. Dr. Musson is considered one of the most experienced physicians in the field of venous disease, having now performed well over 6,000 vein procedures. He is an active member of the American College of Phlebology and is an accomplished author. Dr Musson has written an informative book regarding the understanding of Venous Disease and varicose vein treatment titled Varicose Veins and Spider Veins: Myths and Realities. In addition to the skilled and dedicated staff of our Connecticut offices, Dr. Musson will continue to provide the most comprehensive and thorough evaluation for the treatment of Venous Disease.

Circulatory Centers also welcomes Dr. Peter Hahn to the practice effective May 1, 2015. Dr. Hahn is Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology and has roots in Connecticut where he both completed some of his training and practiced. He is a graduate of Harvard University and Cornell University Medical College. He has been licensed and practiced in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. Dr. Hahn has extensive experience in cardiovascular medicine and trained under the direction of Drs Robert Musson and Louis Certo, who possess a combined experience of over 45 years in vein care with Circulatory Centers.

The appointment of their new physician brings mixed emotions due to the retirement of Jeffrey Goldblatt, M.D., F.A.C.S., who has worked with Circulatory Centers since 2011 when they acquired his practice, Shoreline Vein Clinics.

Circulatory Centers providers perform over 30,000 procedures a year. Their documented success rate in eradicating varicose veins has remained at 97% over the past three years and 95% of all treatments are covered by insurance. Circulatory Center technicians perform duplex ultrasound studies on each patient and, as such, Circulatory Centers is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. Founded in 1979 by William G. Katz, M.D., a pioneer in vein care, Circulatory Centers has been recognized nationwide as a premiere provider of venous treatment for over 35 years. The physicians at Circulatory Centers have further refined and improved treatment modalities to the point that large and small veins can be eliminated with in-office procedures and no down time. Treatments are covered by insurance 95% of the time and we employ a fully staffed administrative support center to assist patients with all scheduling and billing concerns. “It is important that we provide the most thorough and comprehensive care available to our patients. That starts with their first contact with our administration staff and follows each patient through their medical care with our excellent providers”, says David Gilpatrick, President of Circulatory Centers.
