Tired of suffering from body aches after regular lawn care and maintenance? Relief is now in sight, thanks to the creativity of an inventor from Anniston, Ala.

He developed Super Rake Simplifies the task of collecting and disposing of raked piles of grass, leaves and other debris to provide a more efficient method of lawn and garden care and maintenance. As such, it saves time and effort in picking up raked material and placing it in a receptacle and eliminates the need to bend over when using a rake. Therefore, it reduces back strain and pain from bending and lifting. Furthermore, it is especially beneficial for elderly individuals or those with physical disabilities. In addition, it is convenient, easy to operate and affordably priced.

The inventor was inspired by his personal experience. “I noticed my grandmother suffered from back pain after raking the lawn and wanted to find a way to eliminate her discomfort,” he said. “This idea is beneficial for anyone doing lawn work, but especially for elderly or disabled individuals.”

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
