San Francisco-based accounting and consulting firm Novogradac & Company LLP has welcomed Eric Barnett to the partnership. The firm, which specializes in affordable housing, community development, historic preservation and renewable energy tax credits, has 44 partners in 18 offices nationwide. Mr. Barnett works out of the firm’s Walnut Creek office.

Novogradac, managing partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. “Since joining the firm as a staff accountant, he has taken on numerous new roles and responsibilities, including his active recruiting role, conducting on-campus interviews. Mr. Barnett specializes in auditing financial statements and the preparation of tax returns for numerous entities, including affordable housing organizations, commercial real estate developers, for-profit homebuilders, nonprofit organizations and investment companies. Mr. Barnett joined Novogradac & Company in 2000 and has obtained a wide range of experience with low-income housing entities in the nonprofit sector. He received his bachelor’s degree in business economics with an accounting emphasis from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is licensed in California as a certified public accountant.

The firm also welcomed Jeff Nishita of the San Francisco office, Thomas Stagg of the Seattle office, and Matt Meeker and Dirk Wallace of the Dover, Ohio, office to the partnership.
