Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley (AIMC Berkeley) is holding a public Open House & Wellness Fair on Saturday, March 28 from 11am – 3pm at 2550 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. This complimentary weekend event in Berkeley is open to the public, as well as to prospective students of the College’s Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) program. Community members, clinic patients, prospective students, neighbors, and newcomers are welcome.

Festivities include:

    Complimentary mini treatments
o    shiatsu and tui na massages

o    medical qigong sessions

o    tongue and pulse diagnoses

o    ear acupressure

o    blood pressure readings

o    $ 5 vitamin B12 shots

    Demonstrations
o    Chinese- and Japanese-style acupuncture

o    Qigong exercise

o    cupping & moxibustion

Admissions counselling and informational tours for prospective students will also be held for any who may be interested in learning more about the future of Oriental medicine and details on how to enroll in AIMC Berkeley’s MSOM program to become a licensed acupuncturist. Campus tours will be led every hour. Financial aid and transfer credit advisors will be available for consultation and discussion, and current students will be present to chat about what makes AIMC Berkeley unique.

The AIMC Berkeley Open House & Wellness Fair is structured as interactive outreach event to provide general information about acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Oriental medicine, as well as wellness education and lifestyle improvement tips to members of the local community. Drop in or stay all day. The first 50 guests will receive a free gift.
