Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 02, 2015

The Reach app launched today bringing professionals a new way to connect in real time with like-minded professionals, based on their physical proximity. Reach is part of the emerging Canadian technology company Big Rock Labs that plans to disrupt the technology field with Reach and other innovative apps in development.

“We are very excited to have our Reach app exit beta. We have had a large, engaged user base while in beta with testers mostly from Toronto and we are looking forward to accelerating the onboarding of new users worldwide,” says Big Rock Labs CMO and co-founder Matt Kaine. “We will also be announcing a major release in the spring with updated UX and UI as well as lots of new features we know our users will love.”

Once users sign up for the app, Reach prompts them to connect their LinkedIn account, establishing their profile on the app based on their professional resume stored on LinkedIn. Next users can search and discover professionals in their vicinity with Reach’s geo-location technology. These search results can then be narrowed down based on distance, venue, industry and job title. This allows for quick browsing of profiles to connect via phone, text or email, depending on the contact information provided by the user.

Reach was designed primarily for businesspeople, salespeople, marketers, HR professionals, freelancers, recruiters and entrepreneurs worldwide who are looking to connect and make connections in real time, whether at conferences, events, cafes or airport lounges.

Released in beta in October 2014, the app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms.

Reach has released a promo video detailing the app’s features here.
