the video was very informative and helpful to me
i just cant understand what is meant by effective nuclear charge
If the nucleus contains protons (positive charge) and while the orbitals
around it contains electrons (negative charge) is it possible for them to
move closer to each other like magnets but still contains minimal distance
from each other? Once this is possible, will it affect the measurement of
the atomic radius of an atom? Just asking…

I heard that Mendeleev actually dreamed up the basic idea for an organized
table. He woke up abruptly one morning with the idea after pondering such
an organized system for days
