Once again, Professional Physical Therapy (“Professional”) has shown its commitment to the professional development and clinical excellence of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. For the third consecutive year, Professional offered a complimentary student symposium. The symposium, with 130 students in attendance, was held at the Professional Athletic Performance Center in Garden City, NY, included five lectures and a hands-on live demonstration for return to play testing following ACL reconstruction. Students currently affiliating with Professional were invited, along with their classmates. Additionally, all Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant programs at local colleges and universities were extended an invitation to the event.

“We take great pride in mentoring young Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants, and feel it’s equally important to give back to our profession,” stated Timothy Stump, Director of Professional’s Clinical Affiliation Program.

Robert Panariello, founding partner and Chief Clinical Officer of Professional Physical Therapy, and 2015 winner of the prestigious Lynn Wallace Clinical Educator and Professional Development Award, added “Feedback from the students and college programs has been universally positive across the board. Continuing Education is an extremely important component in providing quality care to all our patients”.
